Read the guarantee before you spend a dollar
In this industry, “guaranteed” is usually a headline that evaporates the moment you ask to see it in writing. So we'll do the opposite: here is our guarantee, quoted word-for-word from the agreement you would actually sign — shown to you now, while you're still deciding whether to buy at all.
Ask a typical tradeline seller what happens if your line never posts, and you get the vague version: “it usually works,” “give it time,” “contact support.” Nothing in writing, no clock, no named remedy — which means no obligation. We put the clock and the remedy in the contract instead. This is Section 6(a) of the agreement, in full:
(a) The guarantee. This guarantee applies separately to each Tradeline in your order. If a Tradeline has not posted to your credit file with at least one nationwide credit bureau within forty-five (45) days after the date that Tradeline’s authorized-user request was submitted to the issuing bank, the remedies below apply to that Tradeline. The success or failure of any one Tradeline does not affect any other Tradeline in your order.
What that means, plainly:
- The guarantee is per Tradeline.Buy three lines and each carries its own 45-day guarantee; the success or failure of one never affects another. That's not our summary — it's the first and last sentence of the clause above.
- We're honest about when the clock starts. The 45 days run from the day that Tradeline's authorized-user request is submitted to the issuing bank — which happens promptly after your cancellation period ends and your payment is confirmed (§4) — not from the day you click buy. We'd rather tell you that here than have you discover it later.
- Posting follows the card's cycle. Once a request is submitted, the payment history is expected to post 7–10 days after the cardholder’s statement date (§4). Posting cadence is controlled by the issuing bank and the credit bureaus, not by us — which is why the agreement states a window, and why the guarantee gives you a hard outer boundary at 45 days.
- If it doesn't post, the remedies are named, in the agreement's own sequence: a comparable replacement at no additional cost first, then your choice of a further replacement or a refund of that Tradeline's Allocated Price (§6(b)-(d)) — “comparable” meaning same or higher tier by card age and credit-limit band, the 45-day window restarting with the replacement, the replacement free whatever its own list price, and a refund you elect initiated within 10 business days. Refunding one Tradeline doesn't cancel or affect any other in your order (§6(e)) — and if every Tradeline in an order is refunded this way, what comes back equals the Total Cost you paid (§6(d)).
- What it doesn't cover — stated up front, not buried: the guarantee doesn't apply where the failure to post results from inaccurate identifying information you provided, or from a credit-file condition on your side — such as a security freeze, fraud alert, or suppressed file — that you didn't resolve after we notified you (§6(f)).
And one thing this guarantee is not: a score promise. It guarantees what we control — that your request is submitted, and that we stand behind the posting with the named remedies if it doesn't post. It does not and cannot guarantee what any credit score does next; that depends on the rest of your credit profile and on the scoring model a particular lender or bureau uses. Section 8 of the agreement says it plainly: federal law prohibits credit services organizations from guaranteeing score outcomes, and any company that does so is violating that law. For the same reason, a refund is not available on the ground that a posting occurred but your credit score did not change as you hoped (§6(f)). We'd rather lose a sale than make a promise the law itself calls a lie.
You can also simply walk away. Before the guarantee ever matters, you have a cancellation right: you can cancel until midnight of the 3rd business day after you sign, whatever your payment status — using the Cancel button in your portal, written notice by mail, or email to legal@tradelines.ai (§5). And no authorized-user request is ever submitted to any issuing bank before that cancellation period has expired.
What to do with this:read the full agreement before you buy. From any line's checkout you will read and sign it before payment instructions exist for you — that ordering is enforced by our software, not by a policy. Then pick your line knowing exactly what's guaranteed, what isn't, and who has to honor it. In writing.
