How Much Do Tradelines Cost?

On tradelines.ai, authorized user tradelines start at $349 per slot. That is a one-time price set by the card's age and credit limit, and you can see each card's live price on the marketplace before you sign anything.

The short version

  • $349+ per slot.
  • Paid once. The Total Cost on your agreement is the entire amount you pay us for this service. No subscription, no monthly fee, no add-on charges.
  • Public. Every card's live price is on the marketplace. No phone call to get a quote.
  • Contract first. You sign the agreement before payment instructions appear.

What you're paying for

Know the product before the price. A tradeline is the service of being added as an authorized user on someone else's seasoned credit card for one billing cycle, so that card's payment history may report to your credit file.

You do not get a card or card number, any right to charge on the account, a loan, removal of anything already on your file, a new credit identity, or any promised score. If a price seems to include any of those, walk away.

What sets the price: age and limit

Two numbers set every card's price.

  • Account age. How long the card has been open. Older cards carry more history. We don't sell cards open less than two years.
  • Credit limit. How much credit the card carries. A higher limit means a bigger limit that may report on your file.

Here's how the two work together:

  • Both are needed at the top. A card needs a long history and a high limit to reach the top of the range. A very old card with a small limit, or a big limit on a young card, prices in the middle.
  • Each step adds less. Going from two years to seven raises a card's price more than going from 21 years to 26. The same is true of limit.
  • Every card is priced on its own. Price follows that card's age and limit, so two cards that look alike but differ in age or limit can carry different prices.

Why those two? They're the parts of the card that typically show on your file: how long the account has been open and how much credit it carries. More on what to look for in What makes a good tradeline?

A higher price isn't a better fit

Price tells you what a card is. Your file tells you what you need. If your file is blank or thin, you may not need the oldest card on the page. Pick on fit, not on the price tag.

Shopping on price? Check these first

Searching for cheap tradelines? Price is one line on the page. Before you pay anyone, check five things:

  1. Is the price public? If you have to call or sign up to see the price, treat that as a red flag.
  2. Do you sign before you pay? If a company asks for money before you've seen a contract, walk away.
  3. Does the timeline name the statement date? Posting runs on the card's billing cycle. Ours typically posts 7–10 days after the cardholder's statement date. See When do tradelines post?
  4. Any score or point promise? Walk away. We never make one.
  5. Is the cardholder protected? You should see a card's age and limit, never the cardholder's name.

How paying works here

  1. Pick a card on the marketplace by age and limit, or get matched with a fit assessment.
  2. Sign the plain-English agreement. Payment instructions appear only after you sign.
  3. Pay the Total Cost, once.
  4. The cardholder adds you. The tradeline typically posts 7–10 days after the cardholder's statement date.

Every step, in order: How it works.

Is a tradeline worth the price?

That depends on your file, and we'll say so plainly. A tradeline fits a blank or thin file that needs payment history and account age. A tradeline is the wrong buy if your file already has years of accounts, or if you want late payments or collections gone (a tradeline adds history and removes nothing). Some lenders, mortgage underwriters especially, also look harder at authorized-user accounts.
